Mosaic Dental Collective (MDC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager. The Practice Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful operations and growth of multiple dental practices within your designated geographic area. Leveraging your exceptional leadership skills and extensive experience in the dental industry, you will guide and support your practice teams to deliver outstanding patient care, operational excellence, and financial success. The Practice Administrator will collaborate with clinicians, their regional manager, and MDC leadership to ensure all clinical operations function with excellence, drive year over year growth, streamline processes, and uphold our core values and operating principals.

This position reports to the VP of Operations. This is a hybrid role requiring a candidate to be located in the Placerville, CA area. Requiring the ability to commit to 50% travel by their own vehicle to their assigned practices.
What You'll Be Accountable For
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to multiple practice locations. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices across 3-5 locations. Address operational challenges promptly and proactively to minimize disruptions.
- Financial Management: Ensure KPIs (Revenue, Starts, Collections, Billing, etc..) are established in conjunction with the VP, of Operations and our Chief Operating Officer. Develop and monitor budgets for each practice, ensuring financial targets are met. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce costs. Optimize insurance billing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor office staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth opportunities. Must be present in every practice a minimum of once weekly, with underperforming practices requiring further attendance.
- Quality of Care: Ensuring every patient has an exceptional and remarkable experience each and every time they interact with our offices is paramount to executing on our core values. Every patient should be greeted warmly, energetically and with enthusiasm that is carried throughout their visit and at each interaction with our offices and our employees. Uphold the highest standards of patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for conducting regular spot checks (exterior and interior of each practice), inspections and audits of each practice and team.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with corporate leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for your assigned practices, driving growth and market expansion. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to increase patient volume and revenue. Evaluate market trends and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication channels between practices, clinical teams, and Mosaic leadership. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, financial metrics, and operational achievements within the region.

Your Background
- High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dental practice management.
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record of achieving financial targets and operational goals.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of dental practice operations, regulatory compliance, and industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using practice management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Open Dental experience a plus
- Perio Office experience preferred.
