Are you an experienced Dental Office Manager looking for a warm and welcoming environment? Look no further! We are a small family and private practice, centrally located on L.A. Avenue in Simi Valley. Our focus is on providing excellent care to our patients, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Office Manager.

About Us:

• Mon - Fri; 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; Full-time (some required overtime)
• Private, PPO/Cash only practice
• Owner: Dr. Kosta
• Staff: 1 full-time hygienist, 2 back office staff, and 2 front office staff
• Smaller practice with 4 operatories
• Minimal external marketing, primarily word of mouth
• Excellent Accounts Receivable (AR) condition

Responsibilities:
As our Dental Office Manager, you will:

• Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries
• Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients
• Resolve patient issues following company policies, healthcare regulations, and dental board standards
• Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow
• Present treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients
• Oversee the processing of dental claims and coordinate with insurance companies
• Manage specialist referral process
• Recruit, train, and manage office staff
• Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met
• Oversee office budget and expenses
• Complete administrative functions, including payroll and invoice processing
• Monitor and maintain accounts receivable
• Support marketing and promotion initiatives
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations

Requirements:

• Management or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare
• Knowledge of dental terminology, office procedures, accounting, and administrative principles
• Familiarity with insurance plans and claims processing
• Proficiency in Open Dental or similar software
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office)
