Data Entry Clerk (Entry Level)

First Placement Services is seeking an Entry Level Office Assistant/Data Entry Clerk to complete daily tasks for a Logistics company located in the city of Carson. As an Office Assistant, you will be a point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and promotions
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner
- Upsell products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or provide additional information
- Maintain customer records and update databases with relevant information
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience with upselling techniques to increase revenue is preferred
- Strong written communication skills for responding to customer inquiries via email or live chat
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay rate: $17/hr.

Schedule: 5 days a week, 2 days off (days vary)
