As the Data Center Solutions Architect, you will serve as an engineering expert for developing system requirements, architectures, cost estimates and preliminary design tailored to meet our customers' needs.

Specific responsibilities for the Data Center Solutions Architect role are:

• Partner with customers to understand their requirements and develop technical solutions that address their power challenges and sustainability goals
• Lead the technical response to customer/market RFI/RFPs, showcasing your expertise and commitment to delivering the best-fit solutions.
• Present initial turnkey project solutions with pricing estimates, assumptions, and exclusions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the projects.
• Develop strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at targeted customers, expanding our network and influence within the industry.
• Lead engagement with the consulting & specifying engineering community, identifying targets, developing a plan, and executing strategies to drive business growth.
• Author technical white-papers that intersect between key market trends and the value of fuel-flexible, resilient power, showcasing your thought leadership.
• Work with other members of the Product team to develop competitive analysis specific for the Data Center market across key use-cases
• Be a trusted representative in some commercial discussions and help close the “technical sale”
• Provide an excellent customer experience by consistently understanding and addressing customer requirements and needs.
• Work with the Engineering/Applications team managers to understand and communicate technical requirements within the segment
• Pivot and problem solve to identify solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring the highest value solutions are delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing innovative engineering solutions to power and resilience projects at Data Centers and working with Data Center customers on power infrastructure design projects
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency with Data Center trends, designs, systems, and technologies
• Experience working with engineering, sales, and installation teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to form relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
• Analysis, reasoning, and organizational skills to function well in a fast-paced startup environment

The Bay Area salary for this role is $160k-$200k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position can be hybrid. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.
