We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.About the Role:The Solution Architect will be the consultative technology leader and solution-focused subject matter expert who creates strong client intimacy with their technical expertise. The Solution Architect will provide education and thought leadership while translating client business requirements into implementable technology solutions. With the goal of driving revenue, this role will focus on the creation and implementation of the solution architecture by doing presentations and demos, writing proposals and documenting deliverables. The cornerstone of this role will also focus on building deep relationships, developing client trust and enabling client success.What You’ll Do:Collaborate with Sales and Account Management team to identify and create winning sales strategies and new customer opportunities.Communicate Trace3’s value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive ''C'' level management, VP, and Director levels, and end-users.Capture and process the customer information to build a robust proposed solution that addresses the requirements while considering the solution’s efficiency, flexibility, scalability, reliability, and availability.Develop Bill of Material (BOM), proposals and provide recommendations using manufacture tools.Prepare and present solution demos and training sessions with specific architecture focuses for clients.Meet with clients and partners at client meetings, partner events, customer marketing events, and other in-person gatherings.Create and develop or provide the technical scope, Level of Effort (LOE) and deliverables for Statements of Work (SOW).Actively participate in the solution configuration process with the Inside Sales Representative and ensure the software/hardware order is accurate andProvide pipeline tracking for all potentialRecommend new technologies, sales strategies, best practices, and tools that support the growth of theProvide leadership and mentorship and technical direction for other engineers and team members.Qualifications & Interests:A minimum of 8 years’ experience with providing engineering services for organizationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferredHighest level certifications within Architecture areaAn understanding of the environment and challenges of IT operations in the typical corporationPrior experience working for a VAR or Systems Integrator performing similar type dutiesStrong experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companiesKnowledge and familiarity of various engineering disciplines including Data Storage, Backup Storage Solutions, Hyperconverged Solutions and Virtualization, compute systems, monitoring and orchestration solutions, and other core IT infrastructure components and solutionsExcellent presentation skills; able to comfortably communicate and present in front of C-Level Executives, VPs and DirectorsStrong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectivesFamiliarity with the local district marketsStrong interpersonal skills; able to work well with people from many different disciplinesAbility to mix deep technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable, educational and usefulMust have a firm grasp on the industry and anticipate trends and movements while balancing maturity and timingMotivated self-starter who loves to solve challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customersHighly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environmentComfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environmentThe Perks:Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans for you and your dependents401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match, 529 College Savings Plan, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, and Long-Term DisabilityCompetitive CompensationTraining and development programsStocked kitchen with snacks and beveragesCollaborative and cool cultureWork-life balance and generous paid time off***To all recruitment agencies: Trace3 does not accept unsolicited agency resumes/CVs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.Estimated Pay Range$155,000—$195,000 USD
