3-month full-time contract with a possibility of direct hire
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Data Center equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system patching.
- Monitor Data Center infrastructure and respond to alerts or incidents in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Data Center.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all activities, including equipment inventory and maintenance logs.
- Adhere to security protocols and ensure compliance with Data Center policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Data Center operations, including server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for Data Center management and security.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
