Job Title:Data CenterTechnician 4 w/ Lab experience
Number of roles open: 2
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Interview Process: 2-3 video interviews
Contract Duration: 6 month to start ongoing support past 6 months
Job Description
- Our client is working on state-of-the-art Data Center equipment and they need technical help to test, troubleshoot, repair and optimize their next generation gear.
Qualifications include:
- Strong Data Centerlab experience
- Minimum of 5 years on-prem large scale Data Center experience supporting the Data Center equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)
- Ability to debug server hardware; Server / desk top build have experience in building servers from scratch and / or desktop systems
- Data Center rack and stack break fix on system knowledge of system parts and being able to trouble shoot. Previous experience soldering, fixing and testing DC components
- Linux basic linux commands ability to install linux OS troubleshooting simple network issues with the systems
- Cabling be able to run network cables in a Data Center
- Lab support experience has supported Hardware labs have experience with board level debug used oscilloscopes comfortable putting together system boards on a bench top.
- Inventory experience
- Ability to create solutions to previously unexperienced problems
- Strong attention to detail, independent and out of box thinking
Added bonus:
- Liquid cooling experience with systems preferred
- Hardware prototype support / debug experience
