We are in search of a Senior DWP Endpoint Management Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Operations team. The Role:
This Senior Digital Workplace Endpoint Management Operations Engineer position involves ensuring efficient operational support for endpoint management and application deployments across the organization. You'll handle various aspects of device management, including software packaging, OS deployment, patch management, and security compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll address deployment needs and drive process improvements to align with our IT strategy, reporting to the DWP Infrastructure Operations Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Administer SCCM automated software delivery and deploy desktop images.
- Manage Windows deployment, patching, and software installation.
- Create documentation for infrastructure and SCCM changes.
- Maintain server performance, security, and backups using Microsoft and third-party tools.
- Implement and enhance procedures and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot client workstation system issues.
- Develop support processes and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with product teams on compliance.
- Monitor and improve endpoint device compliance.
- Analyze compliance data and produce reports.
- Act as escalation point for complex issues.
- Participate in process mapping and endpoint management improvement sessions.
- Deploy Intune configurations and support Windows Autopilot.
- Resolve system problems with short and long-term solutions.
- Package software and updates for deployment.
- Develop security baselines and ensure policy compliance.
- Create compliance reports and device patching plans.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of SCCM experience and end-user support.
- Strong governance and security knowledge.
- Lean and agile mindset for efficient management.
- Intune experience, software packaging, and patch support.
- Experience with Azure AD and Windows Autopilot.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent.
