The Corporate Accounting Team at Fisher Investments plays a crucial role in Corporate Finance, ensuring that the company's accounting records are current and compliant with international and domestic standards. These records are vital for senior management decision-making and are used for financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
Exciting Opportunity:
Join our team to lead annual financial audits across multiple countries and support global expansion with your banking, regulatory, and accounting expertise. Reporting to a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will utilize auditing techniques to maintain accurate records, troubleshoot issues, and enhance risk awareness skills. Your responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis to support timely and precise financial reporting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and evaluate reconciliations, journal entries, and support schedules
- Analyze and review corporate financial statements
- Contribute to the successful conclusion of annual financial audits
- Complete regulatory filings
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger or relevant accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
- Previous experience in public accounting and/or audit is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
- Familiarity with accounting systems and technology
