The Data Analytics Analyst collects and analyzes HR data and metrics to identify important trends. This individual is responsible for ensuring that the data is accurate and presented it in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to key stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships to fully understand the business and deliver independent business analysis for human resource functions for data management and reporting.
- Work with business units and HR stakeholders to develop relevant HR metrics, answer data & reporting questions and ensure reports meet business needs
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports on specific HR metrics.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Develop and maintain procedures for the metrics report generating process.
- Collect and analyze internal and external data and statistics for trends and patterns for various types of business reports with attention to sourcing, recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Translate data into clear and concise communications and reports for leadership updates.
- Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
- Investigate possible methods of improving and/or increasing the automation of the reporting process.
- Works with HR stakeholders, HR solution center manager and HRIS consultants to identify opportunities for process and/or data improvements.
- Provide requirements for Workday reports enhancements & new reports design.

Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience/Skill:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and People Analytics space providing reports, analysis and building scorecards and dashboard.
- Ability to present data and recommendations in a meaningful & user-friendly way.
- Experience analyzing complex people data (e.g. headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, diversity metrics).
- Analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations.
- Hands-on expertise in Data Analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Report Writer or similar technology including the ability to merge data from disparate sources to create holistic data charts, graphs, dashboards, etc.
- Demonstrated skill in attention to detail and accuracy with data.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, and process documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information on a daily basis and maintain confidentiality.

- Working knowledge of HR fundamentals (talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational change, learning and development, and organization effectiveness).
