Your Title: Advanced Analytics and Credit RiskModeling Analyst

Your Location: Remote/Anywhere in the US

You Report To: Director, Modeling and Advanced Analytics

Your Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-530pm EST

Compensation: a base salary starting at $70,000+ plus bonus!

About the Opportunity:

First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” by our workforce for three years in a row, is adding a new Advanced Analytics and Credit RiskModeling Analyst to our Credit & Strategy department to accommodate our remarkable growth! The Advanced Analytics and Credit RiskModeling Analyst role will work closely with C-level execs to play a pivotal role in growing the company. You will see the challenges and opportunities of building a company through technology and use internal and external data to influence decision making. As part of a very small team focused exclusively on Modeling, Strategy & Analytics, you will see everything that it takes to grow a business.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, validate, and maintain Originations, Pricing, Loss Forecasting, Servicing, and Collection scorecards.

· Evaluate various new programs and data sources and their impacts on the company’s profitability and potential growth.

· Perform ad-hoc and what-if analysis for various business process improvements and strategic initiatives.

· Continuously improve modeling methodology while keeping abreast of regulatory requirements for modeling usage in auto industry.

What you bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics/Data Science/Econometrics/Mathematics/ Business Analytics preferred.

·Prior 2+ years’ experience as a risk modeler, risk analyst, Credit Risk analyst or portfolio analyst in financial industry is preferred.

·Experience with a data scripting language (Python, SAS, R) & SQL and analyzing large and complex data sets is required.

·Excellent knowledge of various statistical techniques and having built statistical models (Logistic/linear Regressions, Boosting/bagging, SVM, Time series, Survival Techniques, Clustering, CHAID/Classification trees, deep learning etc) is a plus.

·Strong written & oral communication skills, with an ability to create clear and concise communication is required.
