Join our Global Consumer Insights & Analytics team as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Strategy and Operations. Reporting directly to the Director of this team, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution and execution of Consumer Insights & Analytics at New Balance.
Specifically you will work with senior leaders across the enterprise to continually refresh and implement a vision, strategy and plan for Consumer Insights & Analytics. As part of that, you will be responsible for driving our 90-day roadmap, strategy and resource, and budget planning processes.
In addition, you will manage and execute ad-hoc strategy projects from conception to completion, utilizing your strengths in project management, communication, creative problem- solving and analytical thinking. That work will champion innovation within the organization by identifying and integrating new data platforms, sources and internal processes positioning New Balance at the forefront of the consumer data-driven technology. This position is based at New Balance headquarters in the Boston area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive strategic partnerships and implementation efforts with cross-functional senior leadership to enhance Consumer Insights & Analytics capabilities
Take ownership of the roadmap planning process across different domains within the organization
Spearhead the strategy, resource and budget planning processes, ensuring alignment with broader Consumer Insights & Analytics goals
Maintain key vendor relationships, facilitating the adoption and integration of consumer data tools and assets that support New Balance's strategic objectives
Promote the democratization and effective communication of Consumer Insights through vendor partnerships, self-service platforms and internal knowledge sharing
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in consumer data, insights and analytics- related fields such as management consulting, consumer research, analytics, product management and project management
Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
A highly analytical and process-driven mindset with expertise in value assessment modeling and strategic roadmap development
An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, not required
Prior experience in the retail or consumer products sector is advantageous but not essential

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
