Responsibilities:
Monitor and scrutinize security events and alerts, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms.
Investigate and orchestrate responses to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough root cause analyses and implementing remediation strategies to curtail risks and uphold operational integrity.
Execute comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify system weaknesses and prescribe robust remedial measures.
Formulate and enforce stringent security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and malicious activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Implement security configurations and hardening measures across operating systems, network devices, and software applications, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and fortifying our defensive posture.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed security controls into system designs, architectures, and development lifecycles, fostering a culture of security awareness and accountability.
Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and security trends, participating in industry forums, conferences, and training programs to enhance expertise and proficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline (preferred).
Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC) are highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, and risk management within enterprise environments.
Profound knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, protocols, and technologies, encompassing network security, cryptography, access controls, and identity management.
Proficiency in security assessment tools, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing methodologies, and SIEM solutions.
Familiarity with regulatory mandates and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication aptitudes, coupled with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
