Essential Duties:
- Respond to a wide variety of inquiries from customers, the general public and other District staff and departments providing information and assistance by phone, in-person, or email
- Resolve customer complaints and provide account and billing assistance
- Process and reconcile daily credit card and cash payments
- Perform a variety of billing activities to ensure customer bills are sent accurately and on time.
- Maintain customer database to ensure account and billing information is up-to-date and accurate
- Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts to collect outstanding balances
- May support accounts receivables/payables, as assigned
- Perform a variety of general administrative functions
Minimum qualifications:
HS diploma, GED, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position. Additionally, you are a good listener, naturally inclusive and compassionate with diverse populations. At least 1 year of experience providing Customer Service to the public and using customer account or billing software in a similar environment. CRW is a drug-free workplace.
