Job Summary
The Customer Service Specialist evaluates the fulfillment needs of the sales team and operates independently to ensure those needs are met. This role works across multiple departments and sales areas to ensure on time and accurate order fulfillment, looking for a team player willing to help out in any way to get the job done. Looking for someone who is friendly and nice and does a great job!
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with internal and external clients/customers.
- Serves as liaison between sales and internal teams to support production planning and assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.
- Resolves unexpected scheduling and shipping issues to ensure proper order fulfillment.
- Ability to rotate into Production, Fulfillment and Repackaging tasks as needed.
- Ability to Pick, Pack and Ship customer orders, as well as Repackage and Put Back saleable items into inventory.
- Establishes best practices and drives process efficiencies.
- Understands quality and regulatory policies to ensure proper complaint handling and reporting.
- Organizes and implement procedures related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information.
- Duties involve but are not limited to; update supply chain to ensure proper product planning, inventory control by ensuring proper inventory velocity, awareness of critical parts availability, proper material handling, shipment of products, and third party logistics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- Ability to transition quickly and effectively to various tasks and procedures.
- Basic computer skills including Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Personal initiative to meet established goals while working independently or with a team.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Positive and Can Do Attitude.
