Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our service team as a Customer Service Representative!

 

About the role

The Customer Service Representative is on the front line in helping Symetra to deliver on its Core Values. First and foremost, the CSR will consistently deliver the BEST Customer Service. The CSR provides our customers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused benefit and claim information for all of the products administered by Symetra Select Benefit. These products include SB Medical, Accident, Critical Illness, Rx, Dental, Vision, and MEC products. The CSR will solicit and enter the information needed to enter and process claims accurately and in a timely manner. Work as a team member to support one another through flexibility, collaboration, creating a positive work environment, consistently maintain professionalism and integrity, actively taking steps to foster high morale, and demonstrating a dedication to excellence.

 

 

What you'll do in this role

 

  • Customer Service Calls: Provide customers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused benefit and claim information.
  • Solicit and enter the information needed to enter and process claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record summaries of information exchanged in our claim system with a high level of accuracy and detail easily understood by the user.
  • Issue timely and accurate claim acknowledgement correspondence.
  • Process incoming documents with high coding integrity and distribute immediately.
  • Remain fully compliant with operational standards. Meet or exceed call center operational metrics
  • Claims Registration: Enter incoming claims information with high degree of accuracy, meeting or exceeding established metrics.
  • Perform other tasks requested by management.

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.00 to$ 25.71

 

 


Requirements

 

 

 

Your experience and skills

  • High School Diploma; college or equivalent work experience 
  • Six to twelve months of Customer Service experience
  •  Superior verbal and proficient writing skills, basic to moderate skills with Microsoft Office and other software applications; ability to multi-task and prioritize, have a high level of attention to detail, work under pressure, and perform in a call center environment utilizing telephony-related production tools.
