Job Summary:

Applied to this position, your skills will help transform healthcare through technology and solutions that dramatically improve patient care and/or business operations because everything we do in Parallon ITG ultimately influences patient care.

The position will be for the Consulting Product Analyst role for the Development Solutions Team. The primary function of this role is to serve as a product subject matter expert, and liaison between Parallon ITG and business partners in support of many Revenue Cycle operations applications. A background and operational experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle IT Solutions is desirable, but not required.

Success in this position also includes building strong working relationships with business partners, project teams, and other ITG teams.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a balance of technical and people skills.

• Supports the efforts in all matters related to the Joint Development portfolio-based new products, development and functionality for enterprise applications
• Elicits and documents business, user, functional and non-functional requirements
• Analyzes current or potential business processes and reviews existing information systems to identify opportunities for improvement
• Designs and implements reports, maps/flowcharts, and screen layouts to improve business processes and workflow
• Supports operational applications within the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions
• Assist management in prioritization of work efforts/tasks and ensuring risks/issues are communicated appropriately
• Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other Business Analysts, Product Analysts and/or stakeholders to identify options and recommendations
• Provides operational support (Tier 2) for applications, supporting the business and other IT areas by providing status and recommending solutions where there are system issues and coordinating resolution of issues with CSS and development
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• Drive business centric collaboration with stakeholders, business users, and technical solution providers to understand business needs
• Evaluate business processes and lead solution definition (workflow, technology, data, etc.) to support business goals and initiatives
• Facilitate the definition and analysis of business needs and requirements for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
• Coordinates and assists in prioritizing new enhancement requests through user story reviews
• Assist with QA and User Acceptance Testing, prioritizing gaps and negotiating between the business and technical solution providers to gain product acceptance

General Responsibilities:

• Full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Facilitates communications between IT and the Business Stakeholders from ideation through Enterprise deployment
• Work collaboratively with project stakeholders to identify/document project objectives, scope, dependencies and risks for projects
• Work as liaisons among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, data, policies and information systems
• Quickly understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, analyze and present solution options
• Collaborate with peers to develop a customized business analysis approach, defining the business analysis tasks, resources, and estimated effort to complete a project
• Works independently to document project requirements, design the functional solution, identify and escalate project issues, and ensure the IT solution meets the requirements
• Works hand in hand with the development team to understand any new functionality being requested, how it can be automated and to execute on the automation at the time of development is coding said functionality
• Assists in the development of metrics used to track value delivery, performance, etc.
• Assists the QA team in creating Test Cases to ensure that all scenarios/requirements are covered
• Manage changes to the solution requirements, assessing the impact of requirement changes, and ensuring appropriate approval of those changes
• Manage solution requirement communication, ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the requirements
• Ability to operate and communicate effectively within deadlines
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Operational Support

Education, Experience and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 5+ years of experience – Required
• Proficient practitioner that has an in-depth knowledge of all Business Analysis areas of practice.
• Can intuitively assess the best course of action to take in a given situation and understand how and when to apply guidelines.

• Experience with modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Must be located in Nashville, TN or be willing to relocate. Hybrid position requiring 2 days in the office (Capital View)
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
