Position Overview
We currently have an opening for an experienced, smart, and hard-working individual who is passionate about a career in accounting. The ideal candidate is extremely detailed, with a profound knowledge in Construction accounting and must be able to account for 4-6 projects simultaneously.
Position Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
- Scan and file vendor invoices, lien releases, and supporting documentation.
- Route subcontractor invoices for approval.
- Research and solve invoice discrepancies.
- Subcontracts and Administration:
- Perform committed cost maintenance.
- Ensure documentation is properly assembled.
- Ensure subcontract payable vouchers and supporting documentation.
- Perform audits when projects are coming to a close.
- Prepare owner billing based on contract requirements.
- Ensure all job costs are accounted for and appropriately included in AR.
- Work with Project Manager on job specific billing requirements.
- Post billings in AR and system.
- Must have experience of at least 5-YEARS in project accounting for a GC construction firm
- Must be proficient in PROCORE and SAGE INTACCT
- Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft project, word and excel
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
- Ability to write reports, updates and presentations.
- Must be a fast learning with strong communication skills
- Degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred but not required
Estimated Compensation Range: $75,000 - 90,000/year*
