Job Purpose / Objective
The Community Resources Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all volunteer activities and supporting general warehouse operations. The position is the primary support for communication with ShareBaby partners and the main contact for volunteers and warehouse guests.
Essential Functions & Primary Duties
- Manages ShareBaby volunteer scheduling, recruiting, and training.
- Maintains the Lead Volunteer programs to ensure that ShareBaby has a strong team of skilled volunteers.
- Serves as primary contact for volunteers, provides reminders and follow-up emails, and responds to general volunteer inquiries.
- Runs all daytime volunteer sessions and is available for assistance during night and weekend sessions with support from the Operations Manager and Director of Operations, as needed.
- Prepares for volunteer sessions by coordinating materials and writing instructions.
- Maintains volunteer records.
- Reaches out and responds to community members about collection drives, drop-offs, and other community donation inquiries.
- As a representative of ShareBaby, you may be asked to attend various service-related and public-facing events.
- Receives and processes inventory, which includes assisting with deliveries.
- Organizes and maintains warehouse spaces for maximum efficiency.
- Fulfills online orders for partners and assists partners on pick-up days.
- Performs quality control checks of inventory.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Director of Operations, and Operations Manager.
Qualifications Required
- Passion for the vision, mission, and values of ShareBaby
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and independent
- Preferred experience with data entry software and management systems
- Preferred certification and experience using warehouse lift equipment
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for significant periods.
Required Hours, Holidays and Vacation
- 20 hours per week with the potential for future full-time
- ShareBaby follows the federal government holiday schedule
- ShareBaby is closed for a week at the end of the year, between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
- Compensation: $25 hourly and 7 days PTO
- Start Date: April 1, 2024
- Work location: In-person at the ShareBaby Warehouse: 1792 Union Ave., Baltimore, MD 21211

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
