Responsible for the following payroll tasks
- Time clock Entry and Updates
- Employee PTO entry
- Enter new employees
- o Correct missed punches
- Responsible for processing and maintaining hourly timesheets and payments: substitutes, youth, nurses, Mercaz, Hebrew School, tutors, coaches, etc.
- Responsible for processing PTO adjustments
- Responsible with the following payroll changes:
- o Deduction ( health, dental and vision, life and disability, tuition, congregation dues and commitments, etc.
- o Direct deposit input and updates, federal, state tax changes
- o Maintaining payroll files
- Payroll distribution of checks ,paystubs, W-2’s and other duties as needed
- Health dental and vision – process mid cycle changes for life events and new hires
- Verifications of Employment
- Maintain employee customer service to ensure problem solving and concerns are resolved in a timely manner
Assist in the following payroll tasks
- Assist Payroll Manager to Review and process payroll
- Assist 403b set up and balance reports
Assist in Benefits Management –
- Assists with Open enrollment– schedule and coordinate meetings for all staff
Assist with Compliance –
- Fingerprinting/background checks
- Unemployment claims
- Workers compensation claims
- FMLA
Employee/Employer Advocate –
- Discuss employee issues, answer questions, and offer advice pertaining to payroll or benefit needs.
- The individual must possess:
- Experience with Payroll and Human Resources (at least 3 years)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and work well under time and other constraints
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Self-motivation
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
