The COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST will be responsible for creating visually stunning content that communicates our brand message effectively. They will be responsible for maintaining the enterprise-wide brand standards document and ensure the standards are met throughout internal and external communications. They will make sure our external content is up to date (websites, social channels).
They will work closely with the corporate communications manager to develop content for various digital and print materials, including advertisements, social media, and website content for the multiple business units within the Kaiser Enterprise.
§ Develop and implement comprehensive communications to promote the Enterprise and its initiatives across various channels, including digital platforms, social media, press releases, and internal communications
§ Keep brand guidelines up to date and distribute to appropriate internal and external parties
§ Conceptualize and create compelling content that aligns with the brand
§ Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
§ Ensure brand guidelines are being followed internally across the Enterprise
§ Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
§ Provide logo files, artwork, etc. for event sponsorships as directed
§ Ability to perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
§ Conform to company Quality, Environmental, and Safety policies, any environmental laws, regulations, standards, and other requirements such as permits to operate
Qualifications:
§ Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
§ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or related field is preferred
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.)
§ Strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects
§ Excellent verbal, written, and collaboration skills
§ Ability to work independently and part of a team
§ Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
§ 2 years of experience
