Stronger Youth Brands (headquarters for Soccer Shots and Little Kickers franchise systems) is seeking a creative and high-performing Communications Manager to help enhance our brand through our written communications to our customers, franchise communities, and other external audiences.
The Communications Manager helps to position Stronger Youth Brands as an industry leader in youth enrichment programming and as a top-tier franchisor providing quality programs and support to our growing franchise businesses globally.
Responsibilities:
- End Consumer Communications (for families/press/media)
- write, copy-edit, proofread, revise
- Write content for print and web, including the company website.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s voice and brand standards.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy in all communications.
- Manage the press release process and media efforts
- Track & report on communications metrics.
- Internal Communications (for franchise communities)
- Manage communications process (submission, proofing, approvals, testing, and scheduling).
- Ensure adherence to the company’s voice and brand standards.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy in all communications.
- Email deployment process & scheduling.
- Test phone numbers, links, and other functions to ensure actionability for end users.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Communication Strategy & Process
- Work cross-functionally to support communication/execution/roll-out of all brand promotions and key initiatives.
- Develop internal communication plans that align with strategic vision.
- Support media monitoring of the company’s external brand presence and reputation (media research, coverage analysis, sentiment reporting).
- Support enterprise awards and editorial calendar efforts, including identifying recognition opportunities, submitting applications, and amplifying award wins.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (including communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal or corporate communications - editing, copyediting, proofing, or other related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
