Summary of Objective:
Works closely with the Global Clinical Contracts Management Team (CCM) global clinical business development personnel, and other internal departments, to process, review, and execute all clinical legal contracts and documents required to support PCI's business relationship with its clients. Monitors CCM's shared mailbox, prioritizes requests for legal review, updates status of contracts in Salesforce and communicates status to internal partners. Reviews, distributes, and manages the execution and filing of contracts and other legal documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors Clinical Contracts Management Team's (CCM) shared mailbox. Performs initial assessment of all incoming contract requests for legal review and consults with the CCM team as needed. Performs initial assessment of one-off queries from internal partners. Provides historical contract and client research to CCM Team and internal partners as needed. Sends identified documents to external legal reviewers as appropriate. Follows up with Business Development Representatives and other internal partners regarding status/execution of contracts. Updates document review status at each stage of the legal review process in Salesforce. Performs CDA,MSA and other clinical legal documents checks in Salesforcce and in CCM files to verify effective dates, expiry and content. Drafts simple amendments using approved templates. Prepares finalized contracts for execution via DocuSign. Manages document signature process to ensure timely execution of contracts, utilizing DocuSign and e-mail. Distributes executed documents to appropriate Business Development personnel and other internal partners. Files executed contracts in CCM's files and in Salesforce. Prepares initial Powerpoint slide deck for monthly meeting with CCM leaders. Prioritizes and assesses competing requests to ensure all requests are completed on time. Must have the ability to multi-task. Applies knowledge of and adherence to all appropriate PCI and CCM Team policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by CCM Team and General Counsel.
Qualifications
Required

  • Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Paralegal Certification or contracts administration experience required.
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to utilize MS Office; including proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Intermediate Level Skills in Salesforce.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.

  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with the following: MS Teams, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat or PDF Xchange Editor, Salesforce
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on the tasks at hand at any time.
