IT SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR (CONTRACT TO HIRE)
Seeking a motivated IT jack of all trades in the making with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. This entry level role will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with our Director of IT. This role will also help maintain hardware, software, and other systems and assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
QULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- In school for an Information Systems or related area of study -OR- 2 years of experience in the IT Support field.
- Able to be in the office 9-5 at least 3 days a week (Tue-Thurs)
- Experience with both macOS and Windows 10/11
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.)
- Able to troubleshoot issues independently.
- A desire to learn and grow as an IT Support Professional in a relaxed environment.
- Knowledge of SSO/SAML
TOOLS TO BE AWARE OF AND COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH:
- Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Word)
- Keynote
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Jira
- Monday.com
- Box.com
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Microsoft 365 administration (creating users, mailboxes, groups, updating group memberships, managing licensing)
- Basic knowledge of Backup and Replication management methodologies
- Familiarity with security best practices and system hardening
- Familiarity with Apple DEP/MDM
- Familiarity with Windows MDM
- Interest in security tools such as vulnerability scanners, XDR, SIEM, log management, network firewalls, etc
- Basic familiarity with how email works and should be secured (DKIM, DMARC, SPF, etc)
