Job description

What part will you play?
The Client Renewal Specialist is primarily responsible for agreement creation, renewal, activation, adjustment and system maintenance for clients in all Business groups. Work responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives, sales leadership and clients to price, quote, create, modify and maintain in the database. High priorities include meeting client expectations while maintaining profitability and service level agreement standards.
What will you be doing?
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success Leadership to develop and execute variety of competitive sales strategies to secure long- term agreements
  • Effectively positions sales opportunities by partnering with Diversified sales team
  • Lead or participate in the negotiation of deals with clients by interpreting information and providing advice on the commercial viability of the opportunity.
  • Provide support with the maintenance of vendor warranties to ensure inclusion in the construction of deals.
  • Proactively provide tools & information to both Account Executives and clients to enable agreement renewal, including modified equipment list pricing and warranty detail
  • Build and compile pricing models for specific proposals and provide input into the development of standardized pricing models
  • Identify roadblocks and customer attrition risks to develop cross-functional plan to successfully mitigate
  • Develop & foster strong professional relationships with internal business partners including Customer Success, Finance & Accounting, Contracting, Sales, and Executive Leadership
  • Generate monthly forecasting and opportunity reports for business groups and leadership
  • Achieves quarterly and annual renewal sales goals
  • Review, analyze, and interpret agreements with high degree of accuracy
  • Prepare professional, well written quotes and contracts for presentation to customers
  • Maintain existing Agreements (database updates, price/date changes, etc.)
  • Develop, create, and run reports as required using various internal systems
  • Master and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Diversified solutions and services
  • Act as an escalation point for B2B collection activities

Physical Working Environment:
  • Work is performed in an office environment with long periods of sitting and keyboarding
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms

What do we require from you?
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Experience in deal structuring, pricing review, pricing models, and negotiation experience
  • Proven ability to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic organization
  • Good business and commercial acumen coupled with an analytical mindset.
  • Exceptional people skills - ability to work well with personnel at varying levels
  • Ability to create clear documentation, reporting, and the facilitation of information
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid team skills, particularly engaging with the team to continuously develop own expertise
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)

Preferred:
  • Demonstrable experience working within a service organization
  • Understanding of the local operating, commercial and general business conditions

Education/Certification/License Requirements
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - preferred

Working Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales & negotiation with complex contracts
  • Experience with contract research, review, & analysis
