Claims Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
- Tracking Claims
- Filing documents
- Checking our Claims Management System ? physical files vs Claims Management System match
- Incoming mail ? upload in Claims Management System
- Remote workers ? checking mail and upload docs to the Claims Management System
- Copying documents and putting in file
- Tracking claims ? Hurricane Irma claims
- Review documents left on the desk by departing team members and assign the documents
- Filing
- Generating weekly reports ? claims count
- Cleaning files for closing
- Unassign claims that have settled or closed
- Track rep assignments for the Director, and Team Leaders
- Log of requests for information, especially POLs
- Tracking of claims requiring POLs with no assigned estimator
- Monitor calls for team members out of the office
- Other Administrative and Clerical activities requested by the department
