The church administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church. This
can include everything from managing the finances to overseeing the
maintenance of the church building and property.
Duties may include:
- managing employee and congregation records
- coordinating volunteers
- scheduling meetings
- taking minutes
- updating the church website
- sending email newsletters
- preparing the budget
- paying the bills
- processing contributions
- church group meetings
- weddings
- funerals
- concerts
- conferences
smoothly—so that the pastor and elders can focus on ministering to the needs of the
congregation.
Experience:
- Ideally, we need someone who has administrative experience working in a church or a similar organization.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
