Chiropractic Technician
Medical assisting is one of the fastest growing fields in the country. A chiropractic technician is a type of medical assistant who is cross-trained in administrative and clinical procedures performed in a chiropractic office or clinic.
Inside Chiropractic Technology
A chiropractic technician, also referred to as a Chiropractic Assistant, works in a chiropractor's office assisting chiropractors in therapies and examinations, as well as performing clerical and administrative tasks. Front office duties often include billing, insurance filing, coding and answering patient questions. Clinical duties can include conducting basic examinations and therapeutic procedures, like physical exams, patient case histories, x-rays and other procedures, under the supervision of chiropractic doctors.
Training
In the State of WI a CT must be trained through an approved program and registered through the state. The next training provided is March 1-2 in Wausau, WI through the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association.
Candidate
A qualified candidate is an individual with a caring personality and must work well with other employees and patient care. Prior experience in health care is preferred but not required. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
