Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers Quality Department Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include assisting the Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator/ Community health workers with processing applications for Sliding Fee as well as the 340B program. This will include not only processing applications but updating patient charts as well as maintaining the sliding fee spreadsheet. The Administrative Assistant will work in conjunction with billing to process all sliding fee adjustments. They will also assist with sending monthly renewals to sliding fee applicants that are expiring. The Administrative Assistant provides support to our team by assisting in daily office needs and managing our department's general administrative activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Must be detail oriented;
- Ability to shift between several duties simultaneously and maintain continuity;
- Solid computer skills; (Word, Excel and Power Point experience preferred)
