Duties:
- Assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and recording information on patients' charts.
- Preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Assisting with administrative duties such as managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens or performing basic laboratory tests.
- Explaining treatment procedures and medication to patients.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of examination rooms and medical instruments.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare management, and information systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A clean criminal background and the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must hold a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently, depending on the situation.
- Must be 18 years old and above.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
