- Coordinate the application process for Business Licensesand Health Permits, including gathering necessary documentation and information from internal stakeholders and supporting external stakeholders with any required documentation.
- Research and stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to business licensing and Health Permits.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies to understand requirements and timelines for permit and license applications.
- Prepare and submit permit and license applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required paperwork.
- Track the status of permit and license applications, follow up with regulatory agencies as needed, and escalate any issues or delays.
- Maintain organized records of all permits and licenses, including expiration dates, renewal requirements, and payment schedules.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure timely payment of permit and license fees.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding compliance with permit and license regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties regarding permit and license status and requirements.
- Track and maintain accurate records of requirements for states, cities, counties for reference as the company grows.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address regulatory compliance issues and resolve any disputes related to permits and licenses.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in regulatory compliance, permit coordination, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of business licensing and Health Permit regulations and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using computer software and databases for document management and tracking.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions within established guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing regulations and requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to permits and licenses.
