As the largest culinary school brand in the USA, we maintain relationships with thousands of culinary employers. Escoffier Works, our new workforce development team, was developed to meet the needs of an ever-expanding group of education-focused employers. Through our Education as a Service (EaaS) model we offer relevant and in-demand workforce attraction and development services that are personalized to the needs of the business and learner alike.

Are you passionate about workforce development, technologies that help organizations attract, develop, and retain talent, and want to be part of a team that actively practices their core values to:

Lead Responsibly

Stay Curious and Boldly Challenge Conversation

Hire the Best, Be the Best

Be Humble

Deliver ‘Wow’ Service

Embrace Accountability

Bring the Passion

Do you have direct experience selling B2B solutions to mid-size and enterprise accounts? Do you have experience in education technology, workforce or talent development solutions? We are looking for an energetic, passionate, sales professional that possess the ability to build relationships, identify multiple solutions to solve a client’s business challenge, manage multiple stakeholders, and create winning strategies. If you have a passion for talent development and education solutions, and thrive on building relationships, we want to talk with you!

About the Opportunity

Focused on midsize and enterprise prospects across the culinary, food services, and hospitality industry, you will manage sales cycles for our best-in-class, Education-as-a-Service (EaaS) workforce development solutions. With broad product knowledge and understanding of workforce development, training, and education industry trends, you will communicate directly with decision makers in Talent Development, L&D, HR, and other stakeholders, understand their needs, and recommend products or services that satisfy their talent acquisition and development objectives. At Escoffier, you will have the opportunity to channel your ambition and inner drive to increase the footprint of our market-leading talent solutions.

As a Partnership Director, you will:

be an individual contributor responsible for achieving revenue growth through new business generation, implementing a consultative sales strategy, and managing accounts from conception to close.

  • Identify new partners for Escoffier Works/B2B to expand our reach as an end-to-end workforce development solution for new and existing industry partners.
  • Use value and consultative selling to identify customer needs and develop a value-added proposition.
  • Execute sales presentations and discussions at all levels within prospective client.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting through SalesForce (CRM)
  • Leverage internal teams such as product management, marketing, and client services to solve prospect needs and issues in the spirit of true team selling.
  • Demonstrate full sales cycle skills from research and discovery including proposal, negotiation, contract, and pricing.
  • Meet assigned expectations for revenue targets and profitability.
  • Thrive in a remote position, able to build rapport through online meetings, negotiations, and close.

Are you a good fit?

Business Acumen - relationship management is more than closing sales; it is also about understanding internal and external influences, how their business works, decisions are made, budget cycles, and operations.

Influence - this position moves in circles at all levels of the company. Solid communication skills are precise and direct — yet tailored to the audience being addressed. You are a skilled conversationalist and an excellent writer.

Results Driven – you won’t settle for not meeting all the goals. You aren’t afraid to make the call and get things done. It’s not about ego; it’s about the bottom line.

Energy – you possess the skills to excite clients about the vision of the product and services and assist clients in seeing the best path for reaching their goals.

Willingness to Learn - in a dynamic environment, knowledge turnover happens exceptionally fast. It’s critical for you to chase down the information and understanding necessary to make the deal – and close the deal.

Detail Oriented – with as many moving parts and people as an enterprise sale can create, it’s essential that you can manage all the information. More than managing the nuances of the sale, you create organization by knowing everyone’s schedules and challenges, and having a thorough understanding of the product, service, timeline, and team.
