Job Summary

 

This position is responsible for proactively driving HP sales with the Connection Enterprise Solutions field sales organization.  This role will participate in customer meetings and briefings to provide high level solution consultation and design.  This is a sales role driving company-wide HP sales for your assigned region, including setting sales strategy in cooperation with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Connection and the HP channel and field sales teams and tracking and driving sales initiatives and sales campaigns. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to proactively driving effective field engagement between the Connection Enterprise Solutions and HP field sales organizations, training of appropriate staff (Support, Sales, etc.), prospecting untapped sales leads to identify new sales opportunities and effectively using Salesforce to communicate your region sales pipeline for HP.


  • Drive and grow HP results for Connection Enterprise Solutions
  • Drive field engagement between Connection Enterprise Solutions reps, HP reps and customers
  • Work with Connection Enterprise Solutions sales teams to uncover new HP opportunities in their current accounts
  • Assist Connection Enterprise Solutions reps with key opportunity support (deal strategy, deal registration, escalations, etc.)
  • Evangelize to the Connection Enterprise Solutions sales teams on the value and key differentiators around HP solutions
  • Work with Marketing and extended HP team at Connection Enterprise Solutions to support and drive key initiatives to uncover new HP opportunities
  • Track results and pipeline to provide HP & Connection Enterprise Solutions management with updates on performance vs targets
  • Serves as the HP expert to Connection Enterprise for more advanced information regarding product, services, promotions, and configurations.
  • Supports sales by analyzing opportunities, and communicating sales collateral within their area of focus.
  • Achieves assigned quota for HP assigned products
  • Transactional selling working within a team of selling professionals.
  • Needs to create and maintain their HP funnel.
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems.
  • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel, including competitive positioning
  • Has some understanding of HP’s organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure.
  • Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings, and overcome objections.
  • Partners effectively with others to ensure coordinated, efficient account management.

USD $80,000.00/Yr.
USD $103,000.00/Yr.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of Management internally, and with Customers and Suppliers.
  • Proven technology solution development and presentation skills.
  • Strong business analysis skills, strong negotiating, selling, communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop and close a sales pipeline for technology products.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word and relevant business systems tools
  • Strong knowledge of HP products
  • Minimum of five years sales experience required.
  • Minimum of two years in Business Development capacity.
  • Minimum of two years in sales and/or technical experience in solving enterprise business challenges with technology.
