Description:
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):
- BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Five to ten years of Business Development, engineering, and/or sales experience, preferably in the Texas region.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Success Characteristics:
- Demonstrated ability to achieve financial expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with key business decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers for a value-added product and system.

Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to:
- Work directly with engineers, architects, municipalities, developers, and other key decision makers to further educate and promote the use of geosynthetic based solutions for the site civil construction market, through scheduled luncheons, trade shows, professional associations, and seminars.
- Work to generate specifications and industry acceptance of value-add solutions.
- Create a pipeline of business logged into and tracked with CRM to pass along to the Territory Manager and sales teams.
- Work with the Territory Manager to close sales by providing spec defense and technical support
