Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the Indirect Alliance Channel Sales team by growing the business in new and innovative ways. This leader will stand up new routes to market, right-size/reduce where appropriate, and evaluate external insights to inform recommendations for growth.
- Leads a group responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of internal and external data to develop and implement national programs and processes designed to align with corporate growth strategy and initiatives.
- Determines and pursues external partner courses of actions essential in obtaining quality growth.
- Responsible for key decisions regarding the strategy and execution of all national projects/programs from concept to implementation.
- Responsible for managing multiple projects and programs involving cross-functional teams.
- Requires extensive executive management connections to develop new sales routes to market, business partnerships, relationships, and product offerings. Using knowledge of company products, services, support, and technology.
- Provides Officers and Senior level VPs analysis and influences key decisions that impact programs and processes to achieve company goals, targets, and initiatives.
- Requires engagement across multiple business units including Sales, Technology, Legal, Marketing, and Finance Departments to develop and administer the company’s sales goals.
- Responsible for cash management while maximizing and maintaining volumes across all channels while finding operational efficiencies.
- Oversees the design, development and execution of plans and programs to ensure plan effectiveness.
- May manage professional employees who are responsible for uncovering new partner relationships and varying routes to market.
- Inspires team to achieve results and fosters and engaged culture.
Desired Qualifications:
- Typically requires 10 or more years of relevant experience in sales, Business Development and operations and at least two years of management responsibility.
- Requires strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Position requires ability to prioritize projects, ability to analyze and make decisions, and development/ implementation of quality improvement processes. This includes both strategy development and tactical program execution designed to achieve the next year’s plans to generate the sales of products, services, and applications.
- Experience managing the work efforts of supervisors and individual contributors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
- Bachelors or Advanced degree preferred.

Our AVP – Channel Strategy & Business Development salary is between $210,600 - $316,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
