Description: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales marketing strategies to increase industry market shares. You will work closely with the CEO and agency partners to develop market positioning, proposition, and communication that resonates with new business retail markets and differentiates our product from our competitors. You will also be responsible for market, customer, and competitive analysis to fully understand the buyer and personas, industry trends, and the other competitive products in a similar space. You will build the right go-to-market strategy and an acquisition plan for our product to build awareness and increase retail selling locations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the product demos, trials and budgets meet the defined goals. You will also conceptualize and craft product-related marketing and sales content for a variety of platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with major distributors and retails executive leaders and their teams.
- Develop and execute the B2B market strategies that target major retail markets in the USA. Research and recommend appropriate sub segments/markets to pursue.
- Development of sales campaign within defined channels to markets.
- Plan and manage marketing operations functions (shopper, events, field and consumer engagement, and partnership marketing) retail sales (large store, convenience retail and all other markets) and external agency partners.
- Manage oversight of a national sales guide to ensure achievement of sales goals and targets utilizing the corporate business model and strategies.
- Manage key negotiations with internal and external customers.
- Develop, deliver, and drive annual brand plans, with brand sales marketing designing and leads, along with volume, distribution, and performance objectives.

- Experience building senior level relationships internal and external to the organization.
- Proven leader demonstrates a high level of diplomacy, ability to negotiate, make difficult decisions, influence others and manage change.
- Develop, deliver and drive annual sales plans, with brand sales marketing programming and initiatives, along with volume, distribution and performance objectives, coordinate with sales team to ensure distribution, sales, retail execution and promotional programs are executed in market.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts.
- Responsible for new sales account planning, sales forecasting and engaging cross functional resources to align with retail industries know-how.
- Attend sales meetings, training programs and exhibitions are required.
- Provide weekly sales report.
Requirements:
- BS degree or above in relevant field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience with Business Development experience in E-Commerce and/or distribution retail industries.
- Experience in developing sales marketing plans that cover strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing, etc.
- Extremely organized with solid time management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills is a team player, and works well with a variety of individuals in a cross-functional capacity.
- Takes a proactive approach and is solutions oriented.
- Flexible and can manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Good at defining sales and marketing strategy & milestone, also in implementation.
- Good commercial negotiation, including the product, the promotion, the marketing activity.
