Job Summary:
Spartan Composites is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare sales quotes, presentations and other documents as required to support sales efforts
Assist with marketing strategies and initiatives as directed
Able to work independently and solve problems
General understanding of manufacturing and production industry
Identify and establish contact with potential customers
Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
Generate and submit sales reports to management
Identify and establish contact with potential customers
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
The ability to collaborate within the team
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple projects
Education and Experience:
· Proven track record of success in heavy matting industries required. Specific contacts in T&D industry is preferred
· Marketing and advertising experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time, viewing computer screens and performing repetitive movements
Must be able to travel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
