Position Summary
As the Business Development Manager, your role is pivotal in driving strategic growth initiatives, identifying new revenue opportunities, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. With a foundation in comprehensive Business Development strategies, this position exercises independent judgment in evaluating new business prospects, reviewing data analysis for profitability, and actively seeking opportunities for strategic partnerships while continuously sourcing and closing new business leads. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business, meeting new contract quotas, and embracing the challenges with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. In conjunction with the VP of Business Development & Marketing, you'll lead the Business Development efforts, oversee project implementations, and contribute to expanding our market footprint.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as front-facing and highly visible BD representative; ability to build trusted relationships with health plan executives and independent physicians that result in new partnership opportunities for the company.
- Develop new contract opportunities through networking and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Remain in frequent contact with prospects to understand their needs.
- Seeks the development and execution of strategic Business Development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Alongside the Business Development management team, reviews data analysis for new business opportunities, determining profitability and strategic plan implementation.
- Responsible for new Business Development projects, providing clear roadmaps for successful implementation.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, ensuring mutual goals are achieved.
- Assist in expansion efforts with existing business partners, coordinating data evaluation with internal departments.
- Collaborates with the Network Management Team & VP of Business Development & Marketing to increase PCP/MSO provider referrals to the FFS business model.
- Explore opportunities for lateral specialty expansion with current business partners to enhance new revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the VP of Business Development & Marketing, CEO, and executive team to execute innovative business models, increase revenue, and expand the organization's market footprint.
Knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of relevant Healthcare experience
- Knowledge of contract negotiations
- Knowledge of provider and ancillary contracts and expertise in healthcare reimbursement
- Understanding of regulatory compliance management and reporting requirements
- Understanding of Geo Access accessibility & access standards
- Keen insights into the psychology of persuasion and communication

- Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting strategies to meet market demands.
- Ability to manage complex transactions and service models.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with internal/external stakeholders, providers, large hospital, and physician healthcare system.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 per year
