Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Assists with management of the College of Education Grants Office’s federally funded grant programs, include Increase, Credible, Pulse, SES, Reset, Seie, Ecdi, and Creed..
2. Provide academic and wraparound support services to student scholars sponsored by the College of Education Grants Office programs to ensure progress and success.
3. Assist with management of College of Education Grants Office partner organizations , including area schools, associated principals and special education staff members.
4. Assist with managing student scholar employment database for all active grants to assist with the office’s federal reporting requirements.
5. Assist with grant recruiting efforts
6. Assist with creating Scholarship Request Forms.
7. Plan and promote Professional Development workshops
8. Create Consultant Services Contracts for workshop leaders.
9. Create faculty Summer Grant-funded contracts as needed.
10. Help with planning travel for students and creating travel documents.
11. Provide support for Grants Office sponsored events.
12. Assist with managing the grants office’s project management workflow.
13. Collaborate with team members, faculty, and staff associated with the College of Education grants.
14.. Assist with routine file maintenance.
15. Proficient in Microsoft .
16. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize competing priorities with minimal supervision.
17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
18. Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree is required

Experience:

At least three years experience in an office setting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team.
