About the Role:
As an Administrative Assistant at The Eudora Early Learning Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our preschool program. This position is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about early childhood education. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our dedicated team and contribute to the overall success of our center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management:
- Greet parents, visitors, and students with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Student Records and Enrollment:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Assist with enrollment procedures, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between parents, teachers, and staff.
- Distribute newsletters, announcements, and other relevant information.
- Office Organization:
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy office space.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and place orders as needed.
- Assist with Events and Programs:
- Support the coordination of special events, parent-teacher conferences, and educational programs.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure a seamless flow of information.
- Data Entry and Reporting:
- Input and manage data related to attendance, student progress, and other administrative tasks.
- Generate reports for administrators as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Google Suites and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with early childhood education practices is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma required.
