Objective
This position’s primary role within Monster Brewing Co. is driving Jai Alai growth by managing its marketing to include media, and partnerships. You will report to the Sr. Beer Brand Director and aid in fully developing our strategic long- range plan and determine the benchmarks for success in growing Jai Alai distribution year over year.
The Jai AlaiBrand Director will be our subject matter expert when it comes to connecting, fostering, and maintaining relationships both internally and externally. Using brand knowledge, to draw consumers in and keep them engaged.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Support Brand Beer Director on strategic brand planning from a 1-3-5 year plan perspective
- To include a refreshed package opportunity
- Own the day-to-day execution on promoting Jai Alai growth with a focus on consistent messaging to establish awareness and drive distribution both on and off premise
- Determine the best course for programming alignment with our sales team and distributors to align with established ABPs, and represent the brand at planning meetings as necessary. All in an effort to grow sales
- Manage Jai Alai related partnerships underway, vet and prescribe on upcoming opportunities
- Develop and support Jai Alai brand extensions, including retailed merchandise and POS
- Guide brand innovation with production to maintain commercial guidelines and direction
- Support and influence additional Monster Brewing brand managers, sharing experience and expertise when applicable
- Drive consumer awareness and engagement
Marketing Execution
- Programing for retail
- Campaign development and execution
- Promoting Jai Alai within the industry representing Monster Brewing Co. for the sales team as needed for events/etc. Serving as the Jai Alai expert

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A fluent knowledge of MS Office programs syndicated and consumer data
- Strong organizational, communication, and inter-personal skills
- Ability to act strategically and tactically
- Proven people management skills and strong interpersonal skills to relate cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment, (control without authority)
- Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking & prioritizing workload while keeping quality & time constraints in check
- Ability to manage and measure workload for self and keep senior management abreast of all issues/developments
- Strong communication ethic in getting back to customers, suppliers, and internal company personnel
- Ability to incorporate sales data, such as depletions and retail scan data, into the decision-making process for marketing initiatives and program development
- Ability to develop and interpret reports evaluating the performance of business functions and initiatives
- Knowledge of VIP and Karma is welcomed.
- Support the company’s executive leadership with information regarding the state of the business to facilitate decision making

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
