52TEN is a fast-growing real estate property management company based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. We aren’t a 3rd party management company, but rather a company that only manages their own properties. We are actively seeking a Bookkeeper with strong accounts payable experience to join our growing team. This new team member will be working directly with our internal Finance Manager and our world class team of outside support.
This role collaborates with the Finance Manager to handle the books for our portfolio of properties, including administrative tasks, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate must display a good understanding of bookkeeping/basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, exhibit well-rounded communication skills, and be able to work as a team player but also quite independently. This individual must be able to work in a structured, fast-paced environment as well as possess the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and priorities.
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Minimum of two years of bookkeeping/accounts payable experience and/or an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Background in real estate property management
- Experienced in QuickBooks Online
- Experienced in property management software; Rent Manager, Yardi
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Team player, ability to problem solve, can take initiative, tech savvy
- Background check and references required

Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of bills and vendor invoices
- Investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies
- Manage and maintain TPT Tax filings across portfolio properties
- Collaborate with internal teams on tasks associated with bookkeeping
- Document retention, file organization, and vendor document management
- Collaborate with Finance Manager on year-end tax preparation
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and work within the 52TEN way of operating business
