Responsibilities:
- Help run Disney’s relationship with key nonprofit partners, supporting programmatic initiatives and serving as enterprise subject matter authority for our social impact programs.
- Lead highly-visible consumer-facing social impact marketing campaigns and additional wish granting initiatives through strategic development and cross-functional collaboration with teams around the world as well as nonprofit partners.
- Lead various-sized projects (from small to large-scale) in support of our programs and storytelling our efforts and initiatives, using project management tools and methodologies: develop timelines, budgets, project tracking, and lead meetings with agendas and recaps.
- Ownership of the social impact programs’ brand identity and messaging including the development and updating of style guides, marketing toolkits, creative assets, and CSR Impact Site while engaging with creative teams and key partners.
- Support storytelling efforts across Disney-owned marketing and communications channels to increase visibility of Disney’s support of wish granting.
- Lead routing, reviews, and approvals of content with various individuals at all levels of the enterprise.
- Lead asset clearance coordination, materials release forms, and organization and maintenance of program’s photo and video assets in Digital Asset management tool system.
- Lead grant process for wish granting, including donation schedules, invitations to apply through grant management system, contract execution, and reporting requirements.
- Support annual CSR reporting through data collection and validation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned to help support Disney’s efforts in delivering happiness when it’s needed most!
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, social impact or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years' experience in marketing, communications, agency, and/or nonprofit management
- Strong project management skills with validated experience leading multiple complex projects concurrently with various collaborators
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- A collaborator with experience working in a cross-functional, highly-matrixed environment
- A creative and solutions-oriented problem solver and self-starter, with a passion for social responsibility and a steadfast optimism that anything is possible
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in project management tools and experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in client or account management with a service-oriented mentality
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $102,000.00-$136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
