Description
The bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records of the US Space Force Association, including invoicing, bookkeeping, bill pay, and other financial duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and financial management, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Anticipate 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial records of the US Space Force Association, including invoicing, bookkeeping, bill pay, and other financial duties.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s financial activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management or 10 years experience without a degree. 3 years experience in bookkeeping for a 501(c)3.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
Salary
$30 - $35 per hour
