Role and Responsibilities
SoloProtect is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for a variety of Accounting tasks. Working with various resources, including our SoloProtect UK team, this position will have an opportunity to make a make a positive impact and help grow the business. SoloProtect is a sister company of Management Controls.
Main responsibilities will be:
Ready to roll up sleeves and learn new responsibilities when needed
Preparation of monthly financial reporting and analysis
Setup and maintain customer billing in NetSuite's Suite Billing
Process checks received in office through the check scanner, posting payments correctly in NetSuite
Work with customers on getting remittance advices and direct pay permits
Scan, save and email vendor invoices received in the mail (with the potential of entering invoice details into AP Platform and/or NetSuite)
Bank reconciliation & apply payments to customer accounts
Operational, inventory, and transactional cost controlling / budgeting
Monthly journal entries
Work in Salesforce and our internal Insights platform
Establish working relationship with SoloProtect UK Accounting Team and assist them when able
Assist with day-to-day office operational needs (such as shipping/receiving, vendor management, planning, and scheduling) as required
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Salesforce experience a plus
Prior experience in security or similar device enabled SaaS solution a plus
Experience with deferred revenue a plus
Ability to work in Coppell, TX office and remotely on a hybrid schedule
Required Skills:
NetSuite experience. SuiteBilling experience a plus
Must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment and always be looking for improvements
Strong organizational and commercial skills
Can-do attitude with infectious positivity
