We are a CPA firm in Richardson seeking a bookkeeper who would be responsible for helping small businesses with their monthly accounting and reporting. We offer a family-friendly work environment with flexible hours and competitive wages based on experience.
Job Description:
Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
Payroll processing and payroll reporting
Understanding the chart of accounts and making journal entries
1099 processing
Sales Tax Reporting
Communicating with various state and federal agencies
Working with the clients to obtain the information necessary to prepare a clean set of books
Desired Skills:
Be detail-oriented
Have great organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word.
Some experience with tax documents and preparing tax returns.
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
