Bookkeeper
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission and a strong background in accounting and financial management. As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting financial operations to ensure the organization's fiscal health.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record all financial transactions, including donations and expenses
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts regularly.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing
Collaborate with the finance team to help prepare and monitor the budget
Provide financial data and reports to support budgeting decisions.
Work closely with staff to accurately track and categorize donations.
Consistently review donation platforms.
Prepare regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the preparation of financial statements for audits and reviews.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and nonprofit financial regulations.
Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
· Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
