Bookkeeper

Wolverton Air is seeking a Bookkeeper to work full time at our office at 704 Solon Rd in Waxahachie. We are a small family owned, family friendly HVAC contracting business. Applicants must have a few years of experience to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Post daily deposits against accounts receivables.
• Process credit card payments daily.
• Create customer statements and send monthly.
• Enter purchase orders, receiving reports and invoices for accounts payable.
• Process checks for accounts payable in a timely manner in accordance with vendor terms.
• Update employee deductions for payroll as needed.
• Enter time cards into computer and process payroll weekly.
• Calculate and pay sales commissions weekly with payroll.
• Deposit payroll taxes for weekly payroll as soon as feasible.
• File all quarterly payroll reports, including workers' compensation, and pay when due.
• Maintain all payroll records and file as soon as possible.
• Comply with federal, state and local requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Reconcile bank statements by 5th of each month.
• Maintain all insurance data, including policies, certificates of insurance, vehicle insurance, etc.
• Process deferred income for monthly revenue.
• Prepare, file, and pay sales tax monthly before 20th of month.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts at month end and update general ledger with any adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
