Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Utilize math skills and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with account reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Manage payroll processes, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes
- Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system

Requirements:

- 5 years Quick books experience

- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
