Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation purposes
- Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
